Christy and Mark hosted their destination wedding weekend on the Mexican Riviera at the beautiful Rosewood Mayakoba where the jungle meets the ocean. Festivities kicked off with a pool party at the resort, followed by a rehearsal dinner in a working greenhouse, and culminating with a wedding ceremony on the lagoon and dancing the night away on the beach.
From the combination of environmental portraits in the wild jungle paths to the intimate and romantic portraiture and paparazzi style candids as 70 guests followed the bride and the groom into the pool in their formal wear, the photographs layer together to create a portfolio that captures both the essence of the couple and of the ephemeral spirit created at their wedding.
Christy and Mark's wedding prioritized guest experience, giving their friends an epic bash they'll never forget. The flower loving bride wore a floral appliqué gown that paired perfectly with her tropical floral inspired bridesmaids.
The ceremony took place in a grove on a lagoon, with the dock serving as their ceremony altar. After their I Do's they were whisked away in a boat directly from the dock, leading the way for their guests who followed behind, snaking their way through the lagoons to the beach.
The party continued with a cocktail style beach party with food stations and immersive entertainment that went all night, including fire dancers, synchronized swimmers, a celebrity DJ, aerialists, and ended with 70+ guests jumping into the pool.

The bride and groom began their celebration by inviting all their guests to a pool party at the center of the resort with a gifting suite rather than traditional welcome bags.
Guests were invited to sip margaritas while a DJ spun tunes and guests shopped the gifting station full of local crafts from the area and essentials for the jungle like bug spray, straw hats, sunscreen, and a hangover kit.

The rehearsal dinner took place in a working greenhouse on property that was converted into a gourmet restaurant for the evening, with glass tables built directly over the garden beds of various herbs.
The bride wore a custom one-of-one Helena Eisenhart two piece set, made by her friend, Helena, who was in attendance at the event. Guests embraced the tropical vibes and enjoyed a multi-course dinner in the greenhouse that kicked off with monogrammed coconuts as escort cards and ended the night with cocktails and dessert under the stars.
