A Backyard Wedding meets Hollywood Hot Spot Restautant

Behind the Frame

Hannah & Paul

Hannah and Paul had a quintessential native Angeleno wedding weekend, starting with a rooftop welcome party at the Thompson Hotel with Tacos and Tequila. The wedding ceremony took place in the backyard of Hannah's family home, followed by dinner and late night dancing at Evan Funke's Mother Wolf Restaurant in Hollywood.

From the combination of fly-on-the-wall coverage of the couple enjoying the morning at home to kinetic dance-floor captures late into the night, the photographs layer together to create a portfolio that captures both the spirit of the couple and of the ephemeral energy created at their wedding weekend.

The Wedding Day

Hannah and Paul wanted to honor their home of Los Angeles with a celebration at their favorite locales. The day began with Hannah getting ready in her family's home surrounded by her family and girlfriends. In a sisterhood of the traveling dress moment, the bride wore her sister's Vera Wang wedding gown, which fit like a glove. Her friends and family were all styled by Happy Isles Salon, owned by the bride's best friend.

The couple said their I Do's in a traditional Jewish ceremony in the backyard with modern twists. After the ceremony guests made their way to Mother Wolf in Hollywood for cocktails and a four course Italian family-style dinner. The bride changed into a vintage pink gown, also from Happy Isles, for the reception. Guests danced the night away with espresso martinis and late night pizza, moving over to the exclusive members only club, Mars, for the after party.
