Marisa and Lynette were married at the top of Vail mountain in a beautiful celebration that brought together their closest friends and family in one of their favorite destinations. The weekend was full of walks along the river, hiking in the mountains, and of course lots of celebration.

From the combination of the intimate portraits along the creek to the dramatic aerials in the rocky mountains, and kinetic dance-floor captures of traditional Greek dancing, the photographs layer together to create a portfolio that captures both the spirit of the brides and of the ephemeral spirit created at their weekend.

The Wedding Day

Marisa and Lynette drew inspiration for the wildflower wedding day from their love of color, asking their bridesmaids (and guests) to embrace bright colors.

The day began with a private moment creekside, followed by a gondola ride to the top of Vail mountain for their ceremony. They celebrated Marisa's family's Greek heritage with a stefana crown ceremony and shots of Metaxa and lots of traditional Greek dancing later in the night.

Post-ceremony the brides led an impromptu procession across the mountain top. Guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the deck before moving inside for dinner and dancing, watching the alpine glow as the sunset lit up the mountains through the floor to ceiling windows at 11,500 feet elevation.

The Welcome Party

Marisa and Lynette kicked off their wedding weekend with a soirée in downtown Vail at Pepi's Bar and Restaurant. The brides both wore their western finest, topped off with matching hats from the iconic CO store, Kemo Sabe.

Guests spent the day exploring the charming mountain town of Vail, hiking, swimming, and biking, before meeting up with the brides for a western-chic cocktail party.
