There’s no denying you’re already a great photographer, but you want to be the best.

You want your photos to speak volumes of your skills and help you become the number one choice for your ideal clients.

In order to become highly sought after in your industry, you need to master the art of posing and create photos that capture a feeling so strong it lasts a lifetime.

I know your clients always tell you they want natural “unposed” images and you know that completely unposed images look sloppy and unrefined, but finding that happy medium between overly-posed and not posed enough can be a challenge.

Then you find yourself defaulting to the same five poses again and again, and you wind up with an extremely limited portfolio because all your images look the same.

You want to move beyond that

You don’t know what pose to choose because you lack confidence in knowing what makes one pose stronger than another.

You want to create flattering photos of your clients that they will LOVE, but you don’t know how.

You’ve captured amazing candid moments of your couples that you love, but you don’t know how to recreate that same magic with another couple on demand.

That’s all about to change!

Are you ready to stop recycling those same old, forced poses and start posing your couples with ease to create unique, natural, and beautiful images?

I want you to have a go-to guide in your back pocket that has you radiating with confidence every time you pick up your camera.

Think about how incredible it will feel when your clients ask, “how should we pose?” and you know exactly how to instruct them to look amazing.

The guide will break down the exact instructions for how to position your clients for 107 poses so you never run out of ideas.

This will help them feel more relaxed and confident in front of the camera, resulting in amazing photos you AND your client will love!

I want you to have the knowledge to create strong images that will instill confidence in YOU, and in turn, instill confidence in your clients to trust you.

Trust is the key to creating strong portraiture. Strong portraiture is the key to landing more clients.

Wedding photography doesn’t need to be (and shouldn’t be) cheesy, stiff, overly-posed, or inauthentic.

I’m on a crusade to change that. It’s my mission to transform our industry and change the way people see their work and approach their posing.

If you want to capture your client’s unique relationship and create timeless portraits that they’ll love for years to come, you must root your posing in genuine body language and facial expressions.

When you start capturing heart-stopping photos that make your clients swoon, you’ll start converting inquires to bookings at a higher rate than ever before.

It’s time to break free from uncanny and cheesy poses and rethink why and how we pose from the bottom up.

We’re so used to seeing photos like these all over Instagram and even on major publications that it’s normalized and we don’t see these images for what they really are. We need to take a step back and ask ourselves: WHY? Why are we creating a portrait? What is the point of it?

To capture our clients' unique bond!

I know what you’re thinking:

“But, I’ve tried other posing guides, courses, workshops, scouring Instagram, Pinterest, and blogs trying to study poses… how is this different?”

To create photos that make our clients look and feel amazing!

We can express our unique voices as artists while still rooting our images in real gestures and expressions, so our clients look back on them in 20 years and remember what it felt like in that moment.

Ask yourself WHAT the couple’s body language indicates about their feelings towards one another.

These photos are printed in posing guides and copied ad nauseam, and we need to break the cycle. Let’s get back to captionable poses that make our clients look and feel fantastic.

No more images of couples staring in opposite directions looking for the ones who got away!

Use the “caption it” rule to ensure you’re creating strong images that will stand the test of time. If you can’t caption a pose, you shouldn’t be taking the photo!

Success Story

“After learning about "uncanny valley" with Rebecca I could immediately see the change in my images. With that knowledge in mind, I’m now able to turn a standard “forehead to forehead” pose into prompts that make my couple’s image look more genuine, real and relatable.”

I created the Pocket Posing Guide because I remember the paralyzing fear at the beginning of my career when my clients looked at me and asked me how to pose—and I had no idea what to tell them.

They were nervous in front of the camera and I was nervous behind it.

They were nervous in front of the camera and I was nervous behind it.

I knew I needed to feel confident behind the camera to make my clients feel comfortable in front of it. I wanted to create work I was proud to show off, delivering a full gallery that my clients were head over heels in love with.

So, I scoured the internet for posing tips and came up with nothing. I couldn’t find the kind of genuine candid-feeling images I longed to create.

This left me with one option— a TON of trial and error. I spent hours upon hours practicing with friends, moving them around like dolls, trying to figure out what poses were flattering, what felt (and looked) authentic versus overly posed, until I mastered it.

Now, I’m here to save YOU from bad posing—no stiff or cheesy portraits. I want to empower you with the tools to create images that set your clients’ hearts-aflutter, capturing their unique personalities.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: What’s included & how many poses are there?

The guide begins by introducing the concept of a posing philosophy and how to create one. You’ll learn how to think deeper about your approach to posing to create more intentional images that you and your clients will love. I introduce the concept of using body language in your posing and how it affects the mood of the images and then show you how to adapt the poses to all different situations. There are 107 poses, broken down into 4 categories: bride poses, groom poses, couple poses, and group poses and it even includes the Vanity Fair wedding party portrait that so many luxury clients want!

Q: How in-depth is the guide?

Yes! This course was created with you in mind, giving you all the tools I wish I had when I was starting out. I set out to create a “career in a box” giving you all the knowledge necessary to launch or level up your business and set it on the fast track to success. Your skills as an artist are at the center of your business and are the focus of much of the course, because your artistry is what enables you to build a brand and reputation for yourself, commanding higher pricing. However, the masterclass goes beyond artistry and also addresses the practical side of running a business too, like pricing for profit and streamlining your workflow. My past students will tell you this is a MUST for anyone starting out.

Q: I’ve been shooting for 5+ years, will this be too basic for me?

This is a guide for you to quickly reference whenever you need inspiration. It doesn’t dive as deep as my masterclasses - but it will make an immediate and HUGE impact on your work.

Q: How much does it cost?

$37! I know it sounds too good to be true, but I’m serious about revolutionizing the way we approach posing as an industry! I want this guide to be a no-brainer for every wedding photographer to have in their pocket, saved on their phone.

I hope you’ll use this guide to create heart-stopping images!

Images that make your clients feel amazing and confident.

Images that will transform your career and help you achieve your goals.

Images that bring joy to you and your clients.
